Louisiana – 2010

My trip across Louisiana in 2010 was a quick one and I didn’t do any camping but stayed with my friends Betty and James near Minden in northeastern Louisiana.  I had come from eastern Texas and was on my way to a campground near Natchez, Mississippi but took the northern route so I could visit with them for a couple of days.  Betty has fixed up an old building on her property that was once an office and turned it into a “Cowboy Bunk House” complete with an old galvanized metal bathtub.  You can learn more about this project at her BLOG, www.thehallsbunkhouse.blogspot.com       I had a wonderful time with them and then scurried across and down to Mississippi.
